Understanding the impact of Mentorship

Since the launch of the first MENTORpreneur Zambia™ cohort, 59 small entrepreneurs have been supported and sold for example baobab powder to Brazil, designed new clothing collections and organized fashion shows. The ambitious male and female entrepreneurs further developed and marketed virtual games and organic fish food to Zambian and even Congolese clientele. In the selection of the participating mentees, attention was paid to diversity in terms of industry, location, background, and size in order to gain experience and information about a whole range of heterogeneous entrepreneurs during the pilot.

MENTORpreneur Zambia provides awareness of goals. Our focus now is to ensure that the MENTORpreneur Zambia programme can continue sustainably under local ownership and responsibility. Therefore, is imperative to assess our programmes and to create sustainable and meaningful impact that convinces.
